Just like us, houses go on holiday too. They want to feel brighter and happier and in this post, I’ll share ideas to give your homes a quick yet clever makeover that matches the flavor of summer.

The key to the perfect summer decorating is soothing color shades and soft textiles. If I think of summer the first image that comes to my mind is a beach, the sound of waves, and a straw hat. But for you, Summer can be a cottage in the woods or a tropical garden…

The Scandi cottage style is a laidback, simple, and relaxed style. This style often features unfinished wood, vintage furniture, large windows to bring nature indoors, and a minimalist approach to decoration. Colors are often muted and recall the natural landscape.

Beautiful summer decorating ideas – New Tropical

If your idea of summer is lush gardens, cool waterfalls, and cocktails sipped at sunset then this is the interior style for you. I called it ‘new tropical’ because it mixes lots of greenery with clean-line furniture and just a hint of colonial accents.
